SUMMIT 2.0
Description
The course educates the joint E9 member for Senior Enlisted Leadership roles at the General/Flag Officer level, early to need. Member must be serving in a O6 level command CSEL position or equivalent role. Students will learn organizational-oriented leadership and strategic thinking skills to prepare them to effectively advise, lead, and mentor at the executive leader level. Students will also analyze and evaluate the impact strategic thinking, U.S. national policy, and global security has on USSOCOM.
Audience
The primary target audience for the Summit Course is SOF operators and enablers in the grade of E-9 and serving in, or having successfully served in an O6 command level SEL billet. USSOCOM CSEL in coordination with Component CSELs has deemed that selection to Summit is nominative. Service-members who want to be considered for enrollment in the Summit Course must work through their respective SOF Service Component MAJCOM CSEL.

Accreditation
JSOU is currently an accredited educational institution accredited through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) - a national accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education. This course has been reviewed and accredited.
