Scott Simeral

Scott Simeral is a native of Coronado, California, and is a proud Coronado High School alumnus. He was a third-generation military officer and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and a minor in Arabic language. While at USNA, he led the varsity water polo team to three NCAA Final Four appearances. He holds a Master of Arts degree in defense and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College, a Master of Arts degree in English literature from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida. His professional military education includes the Joint Special Operations University and the Joint Forces Staff College. He has more than 15 years of service in and out of uniform with Special Operations Forces (SOF), interagency, and conventional organizations. He is an active volunteer in the community and an Eagle Scout.
