Introduction to Special Operations Acquisition Course for Newcomers - Online
Description
***NOTE: Students will be enrolled upon assignment to SOF AT&L. This abbreviated, non-credit, self-paced, online course is designed to focus on the Special Operations (SO)-unique Program Agile Acquisition Cycle with emphasis on: special operations (SO) acquisition principles; SO acquisition process, methods, events, and products; and developing an acquisition strategy. Students will receive foundational knowledge about USSOCOM Directive 70-1.
Audience
All newly assigned special operations forces (SOF) Acquisition Technology & Logistics employees (military, government, and contractors); acquisition professionals supporting SO acquisition from external Department of Defense (DoD) agencies; and acquisition enablers throughout the Special Operations Enterprise may request admission through AT&L training office.
