In this ThinkJSOU video, developed for JSOU’s educational program on Joint-Combined SOF Roles in Irregular Warfare and Compound Security Competition, Mr. Mike Lundstrom takes the opportunity to discuss with CCM (Ret) Greg Smith both Strategic Competition and USSOCOM’s role in that environment. Culminating a long career in Special Operations with his selection as the CSEL for USSOCOM, CCM Smith’s unique perspectives based on his breadth of experience provide a deeper understanding of the topics relevant to both SOF practitioners and to the wider national security audience.
